Part 1, Bora Bora
Finally! A sea day! Time to rest and recuperate from three day of touring the islands of Bora Bora, Tahiti (Papeete), and Raiatea in French Polynesian, although I have to admit I'm not sure which names are the islands and which are the towns on the islands.
I have definitely decided that cruising/vacationing is tiring! I need a vacation from vacationing! I'll post a bunch of photos so you can see what we've been doing.
By the way, I have spent more than an hour trying to get these photos in order. I give up. They are wildly out ot order and that's the way they'll stay!

This was, as advertised, a 4WD tour.

Our guide and us, knees to knees in the open bus!

We stopped for a break that just happened to be also a place that makes pareus and sells knick knacks. We got to learn how they make them and how to tie one on.

Pamela showed us how to do tiedie and how to put them out in the sun to have more designes "burned" into them.

Pamela dipped and specially folded pareu in dyes.

One of the more exciting stops (NOT). A rock.

| Bora Bora is a tender port, meaning we have to take a small boat from the big (relatively speaking, we have 450 guests, some ships have 5,000 guests) ship to the shore. We are the ship on the left.
